As Senior Loan Manager at Grasslands Finance Corp., Brendan Fowler oversees the full scope of the company’s lending portfolio, including internal and external financial reporting for both Grasslands and CAPCo. With deep analytical expertise and a strong grasp of complex financial modeling, Brendan plays a key role in structuring, monitoring, and reporting on loan performance. His historical knowledge of the entire portfolio and his focus on accuracy and efficiency make him a vital part of the operations team.
Brendan brings deep expertise in treasury management and financial oversight, with experience spanning in private lending firms and both private and public companies in the oil and gas sector. Prior to joining Grasslands, he held senior finance roles where he was responsible for managing loan portfolios, optimizing cash flows, and leading financial reporting and compliance initiatives. Brendan is known for his ability to simplify complex calculations and develop models that streamline decision-making and enhance visibility into performance metrics.
As one of Grasslands’ earliest team members and its longest-tenured employee, Brendan has helped shape the company’s growth and operational foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Outside of work, Brendan enjoys staying active—playing hockey, golf, slo-pitch, dodgeball, and keeping up with his energetic toddler. He also values time with his family at the lake.
