Vagmi Desai brings a deep background in insurance and credit to her role as Loan Manager at Grasslands Finance, where she oversees new applications, renewals, and ongoing file management across the CAPCo portfolios. From initial submission through to funding, Vagmi serves as the primary point of contact for clients, referral partners, and service providers—ensuring a responsive, transparent, and client-centered experience at every stage.

Vagmi's career has spanned both lending and insurance, including several years leading underwriting for complex commercial and personal loan applications. She has consistently been recognized for her ability to assess risk, guide high-value transactions, and contribute to cross-functional process improvements. With experience supporting high-net-worth financial advisors in estate and insurance planning, she brings a valuable dual lens of risk management and client service to the team.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and has completed her LLQP and Level 3 of the Chartered Secretaries (ICSI) designation. Outside of work, Vagmi is a classically trained Indian dancer and holds a degree in the discipline—a pursuit that has shaped her appreciation for precision, focus, and perseverance. In her downtime, she enjoys traveling, baking, and dancing.
